CNC Miller Setter/ Operator – Evenings 6891

Location:
Stroud, Gloucestershire

Hours:
Late Shift – Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm – 10:00pm

Salary:
£21.70 per hour

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter Operator – Milling:

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls
  • Manufacture precision aerospace components to specification
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information
  • Carry out tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
  • Inspect machined components to ensure quality standards are met
  • Work to tight tolerances within an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Maintain production efficiency and housekeeping standards

Key Skills of a CNC Setter Operator – Milling:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ CNC milling experience within an aerospace environment
  • Experience using Fanuc controls
  • Ability to set and operate CNC milling machinery independently
  • Strong understanding of machining techniques and tooling
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
