Job Title: CNC Haas Machinist

Location: Gloucester

Contract Type: Permanent

Our client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke precision components, is seeking an experienced Haas Router Machinist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to work with high-specification equipment in a supportive and dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Haas Machinist

  • Setting and operating Haas CNC routers and a range of other manual and CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinding equipment, test rigs)
  • Machining components to precise specifications from engineering drawings, diagrams, or written instructions
  • Using inspection and gauging equipment to verify part quality
  • Deburring parts and performing final assembly tasks
  • Self-inspecting components to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Accurately completing all required production and inspection documentation

Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Haas Machinist

  • Proven experience setting and operating Haas CNC routers (or machines using Fanuc controls)
  • A background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating/double day shifts
  • Good timekeeping and workplace organisation
