Job Title: CNC Machine Operative

Location: Nuneaton

Hours: Split Double Shift
6:00am – 2:30pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 11:00am Friday
2:15pm – 10:45pm Monday to Thursday, 10:45am – 3:45pm Friday

Salary: £30,000 per annum + shift allowance

Type: Fixed Term Contract (until end of 2026)

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machine Operative:

  • Operating CNC machines to produce components to required specifications
  • Loading and unloading materials and components onto machines
  • Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues
  • Carrying out basic measurements using gauges, verniers, and micrometers
  • Following set programmes and work instructions
  • Ensuring components meet quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Supporting general production and manufacturing tasks as required

Key Skills of a CNC Machine Operative:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (desirable)
  • Basic understanding of CNC machinery (training can be provided)
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
