CNC Grinding Setter/ Operator/ Programmer – 6770
Location: Worcester
Hours: Double Day Shift
Salary: Up to £41,000 including shift allowance
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator
- Setting and operating Studer cylindrical/universal grinding machines.
- Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts.
- Understanding Fanuc CNC controls with the ability to program, edit, and improve existing and new parts.
- Working within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Contributing to a positive workplace culture through health & safety improvements and kaizen initiatives.
Key Skills of a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator
Essential:
- Solid understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding.
- Experience operating and setting CNC controls safely.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Previous experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable:
- Ability to program from drawing using Fanuc CNC controls.
- CNC grinding knowledge.
- Completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
