CNC Cell Leader Mill/Turn (Mazak Integrex)

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Hours: 38 hours per week, fixed shift patterns Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00

Salary: £38 – £40k

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with a proven track record in operating CNC Mill/Turn (Mazak Integrex) multi-axis machinery. This working Cell Leader role requires expertise in setting and running various multi-axis tools, alongside managing and leading a team of CNC machinists in a complex precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities of a CNC Cell Leader:

• Oversee the production of quality precision-engineered components to strict specifications and tolerances.
• Lead and motivate a team while assessing performance and identifying training needs.

Key Skills of a CNC Cell Leader:

• Experience in setting, operating, and programming CNC mill/turn machining centres in a compliant environment with tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds for different raw materials, controls, programming, and tooling.
• Familiarity with FANUC/Mazatrol control language and HyperMill programming.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies.
• Competence in CMM inspection and manual measuring techniques.
• Engineering qualification from City and Guilds, HNC, or similar.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex precision components made from challenging materials and is looking to transition into their first leadership position while maintaining technical skills.
