Location: Stroud area + MUST DRIVE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + commission

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join a growing team within the industrial packaging sector.

This role is ideal for someone confident in developing new business, meeting targets, and looking to grow within a fast-paced, ambitious environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

• Proactively identify and contact potential customers in a B2B environment

• Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities

• Understand customer requirements and promote tailored product solutions

• Accurately update CRM systems with customer information and sales activity

• Maintain clear records of customer needs, discussions, and sales conversions

• Attend site visits to develop relationships and secure new business

Key Skills of a Business Development Manager:

• Proven experience in a KPI-driven sales role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning business

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records

• Ability to learn technical product details and confidently present solutions

• Positive, professional attitude with a desire to succeed in a growing company
