Location: Stonehouse 
Contract: Temp to perm, flexi hours 
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE 

Job Description

Our client is looking for a reliable and organised Bookkeeper to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations. This is a hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys managing a varied workload and keeping financial processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send customer invoices and follow up with statements where needed

  • Process supplier invoices, validate charges and maintain an accurate payment schedule

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including payment runs and supplier statements

  • Record payments, complete bank reconciliations and maintain digital and physical filing systems

  • Check staff timesheets, verify overtime and support monthly payroll processing

  • Produce straightforward finance reports and assist with cash flow updates

  • Support VAT tasks and ensure records are accurate for audits

  • Track budgets, contract renewals and recurring supplier costs
