Anodiser / Electroplater

Location:
Stroud

Hours:
Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Salary:
£12.71 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)


Key Responsibilities of an Anodiser / Electroplater:

  • Carry out anodising and electroplating processes in line with company and customer specifications
  • Prepare components prior to treatment, including cleaning, masking and jigging
  • Monitor chemical processes, tank conditions and bath compositions
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure coatings meet required standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and process parameters
  • Support general maintenance and housekeeping of plating lines and equipment
  • Adhere to all health & safety and environmental regulations at all times
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and resolve any issues

Key Skills of an Anodiser / Electroplater:

  • Previous experience within anodising, electroplating or a similar surface treatment environment
  • Strong understanding of chemical handling and process control
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications
  • Good awareness of health & safety procedures
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to shifts and workload
