ABS Operator

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Salary: Starting rate £10.45 per hour + £10 attendance + £10 production bonus (if achieved weekly)
Hours: Fulltime | Rotating Shifts
– Week 1: Monday to Friday 06:00am – 14:00pm
– Week 2: Monday to Thursday 14:00pm – 12:00am (4-day week + £20 shift allowance PM only)

Our client is looking for an ABS Operator to join their team!

You will work with a small team in a fast-paced production environment on the preparation and application of primer coating. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and will have experience in the application of coatings using a Gel sprayer technique.

Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities of an ABS Operator

• Preparation and application of primer coating to shells manufactured.
• Ensure quality across production and auditing processes.
• Maintain safety standards and assist in conducting risk assessments.
• Carry out equipment safety checks before and after your shift.
• Ensure equipment is maintained properly.
• Adhere to work schedules and deadlines within the ABS manufacturing area.

Key Skills of an ABS Operator

• Experience in the application of coatings using a Gel sprayer technique.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Understanding production performance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Experience of working with 5S and other CI/lean activities.
• Good time management and communication skills
• Must speak fluent English and have basic math skills.
