Overview:
Join our client's team as a 7.5 Tonne Customer Delivery Driver, delivering mattresses, bed frames, and furniture to customers' homes. Working as part of a two-person team, you’ll ensure products are delivered, and sometimes assembled, in the customer’s chosen room. This is more than just a driving role – you’ll be the face of the company, delivering exceptional customer service.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, starting between 6:00-6:30 AM. 48 hours per week.

What We’re Looking For:
Are you an experienced, customer-focused 7.5-tonne driver who can handle home deliveries and heavy lifting? We need someone who’s not only skilled at driving but also excellent at interacting with customers and providing a first-class experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and, if needed, assemble mattresses and furniture as part of a two-person team.
• Handle heavy goods and ensure deliveries are made to the customer’s room of choice.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service, leaving a positive impression.
• Ensure timely deliveries, keep customers updated by phone, and complete paperwork using a PDA.
• Work with warehouse teams to ensure safe and accurate deliveries.
• Keep your vehicle clean and roadworthy, reporting any issues promptly.

Requirements:

• UK Category C1 driving licence and valid CPC/Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles and handling heavy goods.
• Good communication and people skills, with some experience in a customer-facing role.
• Familiarity with EU driving laws and tachograph use.
• Must be 21 or older (for insurance purposes).
