Location: Lydney, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full time, day shift
Salary: £15 p/hour 

Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver

  • Operate a forklift safely to move, stack and store goods.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, checking goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Move stock between storage, production and dispatch areas.
  • Carry out daily forklift checks and report faults promptly.
  • Assist with stock checks, order picking and general warehouse duties.
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
  • Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements.

Key Skills of a Forklift Driver

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling goods.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A reliable and punctual approach.
  • Good awareness of safe working practices.
  • Willingness to support general warehouse operations.

Essential Criteria of a Forklift Driver

  • Previous experience operating a forklift.
  • A relevant forklift training certificate.
  • Availability to work full time on a day shift.
