Location

Stonehouse, Gloucestershire (UK-wide travel and occasional international travel required)

Hours

Full-time

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:45

45-minute lunch break

Flexibility required due to travel and occasional overnight stays (up to one week)

Salary £28,000 – £40,000

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training across a range of industry sectors.
• Train and assess candidates to recognised industry standards.
• Travel throughout the UK, with occasional overseas travel, to deliver training.
• Complete all pre and post-training documentation accurately.
• Work closely with customers to understand and meet their training requirements.
• Promote the company's services professionally whilst on customer sites.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practice and health & safety legislation.
• Use company IT equipment and training systems effectively.
• Work independently and as part of a wider training team.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Skills

• Previous experience delivering training or assessing within relevant industry sectors.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical training.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible approach with willingness to travel and work away when required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience.
• Teaching, Instructor or Train the Trainer qualification.
• Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification.
• General Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Relevant operator and/or instructor licences.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid Passport (where required).
• Able to pass a DBS check and obtain security clearances.

Experience delivering training in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:

• Working at Height
• Lifting Operations (Overhead Cranes, Jib & Gantry Cranes)
• NRSWA Street Works
• Material Handling Equipment
• Health & Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, CCNSG)
• Utility Sector (EUSR Water)
• Abrasive Wheels & Power Tools
• Construction Operations & Site Safety
• Plant Equipment & Machinery
• First Aid
• Fire Safety
• Manual Handling
• Confined Spaces
