Warehouse & Forklift Operative

Forklift & Warehouse Operative – Aston Down Airfield

Our client is looking for an experienced Forklift Truck and Warehouse Operative to join their team based at Aston Down Airfield. This is a permanent role where you will work as part of a small warehouse team to achieve daily and weekly targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a forklift truck (counterbalance)
• Receiving goods and materials
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials across the warehouse
• Preparing orders
• Completing manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Record keeping and stocktaking

Requirements:

• Counterbalance FLT certificate (preferred)
• Previous warehousing experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated and reliable

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Benefits: Pension scheme and healthcare scheme (after 1 year’s service)
Probation period: 3 months
