HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver
Location: Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Monday to Friday
Flexible working hours with overtime available.
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Overtime + Bonus
Key Responsibilities of a HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver:
- Safely operate a Class 2 rigid tanker vehicle to collect and transport wastewater.
- Empty septic tanks, sewage treatment plants and pump stations for domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and associated paperwork.
- Comply with Drivers' Hours regulations and Tachograph legislation.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while representing the business professionally.
- Work closely with installation and service teams to support customer requirements.
- Dispose of waste safely at authorised disposal sites.
Key Skills of a HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum of 2 years' tanker driving experience.
- Basic understanding of the wastewater industry.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
