Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Competitive, Dependant on Experience 

Key Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer 

• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods for mechanical components
• Determine the most effective tooling, processes and operational sequences for production
• Review product designs and provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) recommendations
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs, assembly instructions and routing guides
• Support new product introduction and process development activities
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and productivity
• Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams to ensure robust manufacturing processes
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements

Key Skills of a Manufacturing Engineer

• Previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of AS9100 standards
• Experience in process development and manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and manufacturing procedures
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
