Job Title: Production Support Operative

Location: Clevedon, North Somerset 

Hours: 40 hours per week including a 45-minute early finish on a Friday
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 12:15

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Production Support Operative:

  • Picking and weighing raw materials in line with customer works orders
  • Delivering materials to the production team efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Supporting production with labelling, decanting, and adding actives to solvents
  • Assisting with customer packaging and general production duties
  • Maintaining high housekeeping, GMP, and food safety standards
  • Ensuring all materials are stored correctly after use
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department

Key Skills of a Production Support Operative

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong awareness of health & safety and hygiene standards
  • Reliable with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
