First Base Employment has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Paint Shop operative to work for their world leading client based in Nuneaton. The successful applicant will work on a wide range of products and projects and should be able to demonstrate high quality workmanship.

Essential Experience:

• Familiar with the use of gravity spray equipment
• Familiar with the application of paint from various paint systems;
• Cellulose
• 2 pack polyurethanes
• Acrylics
• Able to apply lacquers, air drying & 2 pack
• Colour matching 
• Masking, cutting & polishing
• Able to follow written workshop instructions & printed graphic information

Desirable Experience:

• Able to apply paint to different surface finishes / textures
• Gloss / semi-gloss / satin / matt / spark finishes
• A familiarity with different lacquering systems
• Familiarity with precision masking
• Application of graphics & transfers
• Good communication skills
