Monday – Friday – Early finish on Friday

Salary:
£13.00 – £14.00 excluding 10% shift allowance on afternoon shift

Key Responsibilities of an Assembly Operative

• Assemble steering systems and components in line with technical drawings and specifications

• Use hand tools and basic machinery to complete assemblies

• Follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines

• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

• Identify and report any faults or issues within the assembly process

• Work to production targets and deadlines

• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments

Key Skills of an Assembly Operative

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Good attention to detail and quality standards

• Experience using hand tools

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable with a good work ethic
