Trainee Press Tool Setter

Location:
Stonehouse

Hours:
7.30am – 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30am – 12.30pm Friday

Salary:
£28,392 per annum

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Press Tool Setter:

  • Support the setup and operation of single action, high-speed and transfer presses
  • Work alongside experienced Press Tool Setters to learn tooling, setting and changeover procedures
  • Assist with press tool maintenance and basic fault finding
  • Adhere to strict health and safety and quality standards at all times
  • Develop knowledge of press-working processes and manufacturing techniques

Key Skills of a Trainee Press Tool Setter:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or press-working environment is desirable
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • An understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
