Double day-shift rotation
Salary:
£32,000 – £39,600 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities of a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator
- Programming, setting and operating 4 & 5 Axis Machining Centres
- Producing a wide range of highly toleranced components used in the manufacture of CNC machines
- Programming, editing and improving parts using Mazatrol CNC controls
- Working collaboratively within the machining team, adhering to strict health & safety standards
- Supporting continuous improvement, kaizen initiatives and positive shopfloor culture
Key Skills of a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator
- Strong understanding of setting and operating CNC machining centres
- Proven experience working safely with CNC controls
- Ability to work effectively within a busy manufacturing environment
- Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
Desirable:
- Ability to program from engineering drawings using Mazatrol
- Completed mechanical engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent
