Trainee Sales Executive 

Location: Sharpness, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time | Permanent | Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary: £30k 

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident and ambitious individual to start their career in sales with a well-established and expanding company. Full training will be provided – all you need is great communication skills, a positive attitude, and the confidence to pick up the phone.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a successful career in sales and develop valuable business experience. You’ll be making outbound calls, building relationships with potential customers, and learning how to manage your own accounts as you progress.

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Sales Executive

• Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce the company’s products and services
• Build rapport and develop long-term relationships with clients
• Learn how to identify sales opportunities and close deals
• Support the wider sales team with customer enquiries and quotations
• Maintain accurate records of calls and customer information in the CRM system
• Work towards achievable targets and KPIs with full training and support

Key Skills & Attributes

• Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to people over the phone all day
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed
• Positive attitude and resilient approach to challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a friendly and supportive team
