Automotive Paint & Adhesive Quality Technician 6613
Location: Covering 3 sites (travel time included)
Hours: Full-time, day shift
Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour DOE + fuel expenses
Key Responsibilities of an Automotive Paint & Adhesive Quality Technician
- Conducting quality inspections and checks on automotive paint and adhesive (glue) applications.
- Ensuring all products and processes meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
- Travelling between three key sites to provide on-site support and maintain consistency in quality procedures.
- Identifying and reporting any non-conformances or deviations in paint and adhesive finishes.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintaining detailed quality reports and documentation.
- Supporting process improvements and recommending solutions to enhance quality performance.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
Key Skills of an Automotive Paint & Adhesive Quality Technician
Essential:
- Proven experience within automotive paint or adhesive (glue) quality control.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation, coating, and adhesive processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to travel between multiple sites as required (travel time paid).
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience working within Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of ISO or IATF quality standards.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
