Quality Controller

Location: Stonehouse
Contract length: 4 months
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:10–16:10, Friday 7:10–12:10

Rate: £14.01 per hour

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Controller:

• Represent the Quality Department in Lab Testing by collecting parts from production and testing them in the lab
• Perform testing on filtration devices, mixing solutions, and using pipettes and centrifuges
• Support other QC roles where required, including cleanroom inspection, in-process and release inspection in production, and mould shop inspection
• Rotate across QC functions as business needs require or remain in one role for extended periods
• Ensure all products meet quality criteria through checks, tests, batch reviews, and supporting tasks
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring they are completed and signed off in line with good documentation practice

Key Skills of a Quality Controller:

• Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable following established processes and procedures
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous lab experience in a work or university setting is beneficial but not essential
