Trainee Escape Systems Technician 6531

Location: Gloucestershire

Hours:
38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 6:00pm (No Fridays)

Salary:
£24,000 + per annum (dependent on experience)


Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Escape Systems Technician

  • Service and maintain survival equipment in accordance with company and OEM manuals/guidelines.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and follow safety policies on all aspects of escape systems.

  • Disassemble, test, and fault-find survival equipment/escape systems.

  • Repair and replace components as required.

  • Conduct operational and functional testing of equipment.

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in line with the company’s Quality Management System.


Key Skills of a Trainee Escape Systems Technician

  • Good standard of GCSE-level education.

  • Interest in developing a career within engineering.

  • Responsible team player, able to work collaboratively and independently.

  • Highly organised with a methodical approach.

  • Adaptable and open to change.

  • Strong attention to detail with a safety-conscious approach.

  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.

  • Committed work ethic and service-oriented mindset.
