Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm (with required weekend/evening travel for events)
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of services, is seeking a Brand Account Manager. This vital role involves managing brand activations and ensuring a strong brand presence for various partners. It's a dynamic position requiring exceptional project management, creative thinking, and strong communication skills, contributing to the goal of being a top service provider and employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities of a Brand Account Manager
- Work across various FMCG brands.
- Plan and manage brand campaigns from approval to event execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver brand plans successfully.
- Support brands in achieving goals and ROI.
- Prepare detailed P&L reports for each campaign.
- Create briefs and ideas that align with brand goals.
- Manage event activations, including setup and takedown.
- Coordinate with agencies for POS materials and merchandise.
- Attend and present at brand meetings.
- Oversee photography and videography at events.
- Manage budgets, raise purchase orders, and process invoices.
- Track income and margins to stay within budget.
- Ensure brand content is correct and visible at key events.
- Provide ongoing brand support, including reviews and event presence.
- Build strong, lasting brand relationships to drive growth.
- Travel across the UK for events, with evening and weekend work as needed.
- Assist with general tasks to support the brand team.
- Promote sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.
Key Skills of a Brand Account Manager
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within an agency or brand environment.
- Proven account management and project management experience.
- A creative thinker with a good knowledge and understanding of the design process.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working to strict brand guidelines.
- Ability to identify brand needs and offer solutions to drive incremental business.
- Experience working with a range of suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
