Welder / Fabricator
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:45 – 16:00, Friday 07:45 – 15:30
Pay: Hourly rate depending on experience and quality
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension contributions

We are working with a specialist engineering firm seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This is a hands-on role requiring a skilled fabricator with a background in pressure vessels and piping spools, capable of working to high standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Welder / Fabricator:

  • Fabrication and welding of pressure vessels and piping spools to customer specifications
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to carry out accurate work
  • Welding using MIG/MAG and TIG processes, with codes to ASME IX standard
  • Working with carbon steel and stainless steel materials

Key Skills of a Welder / Fabricator:

  • Proven welding and fabrication experience in a similar setting
  • Coded in MIG/MAG and TIG welding to ASME IX (essential)
  • Confident working with both carbon and stainless steels
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
