Warehouse Operative & FLT Driver

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £12.30 per hour

Hours: 7am – 5pm

Our fantastic client is a leading provider of supply of coatings and application equipment to the manufacturing and fabrication industries. Due to thier continuous growth, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their dispatch team.

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse & FLT Driver:

• Picking, packing, and dispatching a wide range of products from our Gloucester warehouse.
• Assisting with deliveries to commercial locations in the local region.
• Participating in quality control checks to ensure defect-free supply.
• Optionally, becoming part of the production team, helping to plan, organize, coordinate, and control the dispatch of finished goods.
• Safely operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Efficiently load and unload goods from trucks and other transport vehicles.
• Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Skills of a Warehouse & FLT Driver:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Minimum GCSE grades in Maths and English, with reasonable IT skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driving license.
• Experience in forklift driving.
• A results-driven, “Make it happen” attitude.
