Production Operative – Dursley

Location: Dursley
Hours: Double Days Shifts

Early shift: 6.00am – 2.00pm (1.00pm Fri)

Late shift: 2.00pm – 10.00pm (1.00pm – 8.00pm Fri)
Salary: £13.61 per hour – Temp to Perm

First Base Employment has a requirement for a Production Operative to work with their client based close to Dursley in one of their Production departments. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity.

Working on a double-days shift rotation and reporting to the Production Manager, you will be involved in a wide range of processes, assisting with machine maintenance and operation, and actively contributing to various teams and initiatives within the Plant.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

  • Operating machinery and ensuring proper maintenance.

  • Assisting with production processes and adhering to quality standards.

  • Actively contributing to team initiatives and improvement projects.

  • Reporting defects or issues promptly to supervisors.

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Skills of a Production Operative:

  • Previous experience working in manufacturing.

  • Background in machine operation and production.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Proactive and adaptable approach to work.
