Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire   

Pay: From £12.00 Per Hour

As a Sheet Metal Worker in our client’s facility, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating our client’s Haeger insert machines. This role requires familiarity with sheet metal drawings, various insert types, and materials, as you'll be adjusting, setting, and operating machinery to meet production standards.

We would welcome candidates with a solid background in fabrication or sheet metal and are willing to provide training for the right person.

The role involves light lifting, so physical fitness is necessary, and knowledge of additional sheet metal processes is a plus. Flexibility is key, as you may be asked to take on other tasks within the facility as needed.

Key Responsibilities of a Sheet Metal Worker

• Set up and operate a Haeger inserting machine
• Sort and organise stock
• Ensure quality standards are met and identify defects
• Follow production requirements
• Remain flexible to adapt to changing workflows
• Adhere to all health and safety policies

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks on machines
• Keep the machine and workspace clean and organised
• Support Continuous Improvement and Health & Safety initiatives
