Electrical Fitter – Nailsworth/Stroud – Up to £30,00 per annum – Full time – Permanent role

We are looking for an Electrical Fitter to produce electrical circuits and sub-circuits.

Our client requires an Electrical Fitter who has experience in a mechanical and electrical environment for our specialist and growing engineering client to assist with the production of products for the automotive, military, and marine sectors.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a company with a global reputation who provide services to the aircraft industry and are known for supplying solutions the military, marines, and aviation sector. Your duties will be to produce company products to the required standard and quality as defined by drawings, written instructions, and direction from supervision.

Summary of the role for the Electrical Fitter:

  • Produce vehicle and equipment circuitry of varying complexity.
  • Ability to read, understand and produce work to electrical schematic drawings, using general electrical engineering tools and techniques.
  • Fitting, fabricating, and assembling the structural components.
  • assemble parts in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Ability to perform and honestly monitor/inspect work.
  • Refer for concession/remedial action to supervision required.
  • Abide by the companies Health and Safety polices to ensure a safe environment.
  • The right candidate will hold responsibility for his / her own safety and for those around them.

Skillset Required for the Electrical Fitter:

  • Experience with working from: manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings and sub-assembly drawings.
  • Check the complete assembly for alignment, dimensions, and quality.
  • Circuitry knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics is ideal, but will be trained if unsure/more of a junior candidate.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical assembly and ability to read electrical circuit drawings preferred.
  • Experience of vehicle fabricating/fitting would be ideal, but experience within a mechanical environment is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

08.00 – 16.30 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
