Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Gloucester 
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 8:45am – 5:00pm 

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to join our client's busy operation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Floor Supervisor to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse, overseeing a small team of four.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team handling the receipt and despatch of large deliveries.

• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, enforcing all company procedures and safety protocols.

• Ensure all incoming goods are checked, labelled, and stored accurately and in good condition.

• Oversee the despatch process, ensuring shipments are neat, secure, and accompanied by correct documentation.

• Work closely with the Procurement Team to ensure accurate and timely stock processing.

• Support in maintaining correctly labelled goods and organised stillages.

• Carry out general warehouse duties including loading/unloading deliveries and physical stock movements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing or supervising a warehouse team is essential.

• A natural leader with the ability to motivate and manage a small team effectively.

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting (please note, this is a hands-on role).

• Ability to work methodically and lead by example.

• Competent in using ERP systems or similar stock/warehouse management software.

• A valid Order Picker, Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence is desirable but training can be provided.
