The Role
To continue our success and support our growth we are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative, who can become a team player within a busy warehouse department.
DUTIES:
- The loading and unloading of international trailers and delivery vehicles
- Responsible for the safe and efficient moving of a wide range of products
- Keeping accurate records and efficient processing of paper work
- Processing on SAP in real time
- Responsible for all finished goods movements between factory and distribution centre from loads to emailing excel sheets
- Monthly/yearly stock taking
- Housekeeping to audit standards
- Responsible for picking stock for export orders, ensuring all goods are packed safely for dispatch
- Responsible for maintaining forklift trucks on a weekly basis
- Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness if and when required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Counterbalance forklift license essential
- Driving license desired
- As the company operates a shift system for a majority of the year, the candidate would be required to work as part of a shift team.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, ideally SAP, would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to multi task and react quickly in a fast pace environment
- Self motivated, with an ability to prioritise workload and communicate clearly with the team
Full time, permanent position
Salary £20,898 + shift allowance of 10%, pension, sick pay, bonus scheme, 23 days holiday
