Warehouse Operative – Aston Down, Stroud
General Overview
Warehouse Operative is required to carry out general warehouse duties as instructed by the warehouse manager. Must be able to work flexible working hours and as part of a team. Previous forklift operation experience would be an advantage.
Main duties to include:
- Manual handling, unloading shipping containers of boxed products on to pallets
- Picking and packing goods for courier despatch
- Use of hand held scanning equipment
- Loading goods on to pallets, strapping and wrapping ready for despatch
- Vehicle loading of vans, 7.5t lorries and curtain side HGVs
- Day to day housekeeping
Requirements:
- Previous warehousing knowledge and experience
- Forklift certificate
- Manual handling training/knowledge
- Self motivated
- Able to work off own initiative
- Team player
- Own transport to get to work location preferable
Hours 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
