Warehouse Operative

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £12.21

Hours: 8:45am – 5:00pm

 

Our client, a long-established and respected supplier of premium furnishing fabrics to the design, manufacturing, and interiors industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to support their busy dispatch team based at their Gloucester site.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch a wide range of products from the Gloucester warehouse
  • Assist with local commercial deliveries as required
  • Carry out quality control checks to ensure goods meet company standards
  • Support the production team with the planning, coordination, and dispatch of finished products
  • Safely operate VNA forklifts
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with the warehouse and logistics team to maintain smooth operations

 

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • Comfortable with manual handling and lifting 
  • Valid VNA forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, “make it happen” approach
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
