Key Objectives
- Off-loading and inspection of deliveries. Recording details and safe storing of materials. Controlling stock with identification labels. Packing and despatching materials in liaison with Sales and Production department.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Off-loading and inspection of incoming materials
- Recording incoming material
- Identification of all stock
- Storing materials safely and tidily
- Packing sheet material and machined parts
- Organising despatch with Sales and Production department
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner
- Controlling stock on Navision
- Counter Balance Fork Lift Operation
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested by your line manager
Technical Skills and Experience
- Excellent communications skills, must be able to communicate at all levels
- Counterbalance & Reach FLT certificate
- Calm professional manner, but must have a good sense of humour
- Positive "can do" attitude. With good attention to detail
- Able to work extended and/or unsocial hours to the full requirements of the role
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Day Shift – Monday – Thursday 8.00am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.00am to 2.30pm
Salary is £22,000 per annum
