Supply Chain Manager
Location: Hybrid – 1 day per week in Solihull, 2 days per month in Gloucester
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Manager:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Key Skills of a Supply Chain Manager:
- Strong experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setup while maintaining strong communication with teams.
- Knowledge of best practices in inventory control, demand planning, and logistics.
