First Base Employment has a requirement for a Sous Chef for an award winning hotel in Cornwall set right on the coastal front. The Restaurant holds 2 AA rosettes and only serves Cornish fish and shellfish and meat from the Cornish moors, small scale vegetable farmers and artisan cheese makers. Think Italian, fresh plates, handmade pasta and delicious wood fired pizzas, alongside a young, vibrant atmosphere with alfresco tables making the most of the spectacular water views.
The kitchen brigade is led by a highly regarded executive head chef. Currently at 2 Rosettes this restaurant has a star in its sights, with a brigade of 6 operating 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and caters for 40+ covers in the restaurant.
There is plenty of opportunity to work within a great brigade, collaboration and learn from a talented and experienced Head Chef
