Purchasing Administrator (9-12 month FTC)


Pay: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: 7.30am until 4.45pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am until 12.30pm on Friday’s

Location: Stonehouse


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders

  • Liaison across the business with those who raise requisitions

  • Maintain open order book and progressing weekly to ensure on time delivery and ensuring unresolved issues

  • Ensure order confirmations are received within 48 hours of order placement and ensuring unresolved issues are escalated to the Buyer.


Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative position

  • Good IT skills including MS office packages

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

  • Previous experience in a purchasing role is desirable

  • Previous experience working for a manufacturing company is desirable
