Purchase Ledger Manager


Location: Andoversford, Gloucestershire

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: 30 – 37.5 hours per week


Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices 

  • Working out VAT payments 

  • Making payments via BACS 

  • Processing staff expenses 

  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details

  •  Reconciliation of supplier statements 

  • Filing invoices 

  • Data entry 

  • Being first point of contact for all relevant account enquiries 

  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers 

  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary


Key Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL

  • Previous experience using Xero is ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to manage a varied and busy workload

  • Experience working to tight deadlines

  • Problem solving skills

  • Self motivated 

  • Team player
