Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven individual to join our Rapid Prototyping (RP) Projects Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background and commercial awareness to support and coordinate fast-paced projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the central point of contact between sales, production, customers, and subcontract suppliers
  • Provide technical guidance, quotations, capacity updates, and scheduling information to help customers meet their project goals
  • Liaise directly with customers and key decision-makers to win business and develop strong long-term relationships
  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements and company sales and production targets
  • Monitor daily scheduling capacity and proactively promote additional services to customers where appropriate
  • Attend external visits to other group companies and customer sites as required
  • Maintain a high standard of communication across all departments to ensure seamless project delivery

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Good knowledge of 3D printing processes and commercial awareness of the plastics industry
  • Understanding of CNC machining processes
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Additional Requirements:

  • A collaborative team player with excellent reliability and timekeeping
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, including Mini Magics, SolidWorks, CATIA, and SpaceClaim
