Production Operatives are immediately required by a high class manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury working on a double days shift rotation.
Duties and responsibilities
- Operate limited number of machines
- Locate materials and tooling
- Understanding of materials for product manufacture
- Identification and use of correct parts/machine for production
- Correct use of sprays/solvents/cleaning agents as applicable
- Correct manual handling of tools and moulds
- Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork
- After basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision
- Flexible, to be transferred to other areas of production
- Carry out all work activities in accordance with HSE requirements
- Keep work area(s) in compliance with company housekeeping standards
Candidate requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferable
- Quality conscious with strong attention to detail
- Understanding the need for quality and how it impacts on business
- Good coordination skills
- Ability to understand and complete paperwork
- Maintain standards as set by Company
- Awareness of the importance of communication and keeping people updated
- Maintains a self awareness of events and activities within the Company
Full time hours, 37.5 per week working on a double days rotation
- Early shift 6.00am – 2.00pm (Mon to Fri)
- Late shift 2.00pm – 11.50pm (Mon to Thurs)
£12.92 per hour rising to £13.27 after 12 weeks
