Panel Beater 

Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire 
Hours: Full-time, Permanent 
Salary: £46,000 per year + OTE's of £58,000

Our client is looking for a Panel Beater to assess vehicle frames, checking for any damage, such as dents, scratches or damage to the paintwork. 

Working with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, you will orchestrate necessary repairs to restore vehicles back to pristine condition, ensuring all vehicles are road safe and meet roadworthiness standards. 

Key responsibilities of a Panel Beater 

  • Assessing the extent of motor vehicle repairs, restoration, and customisation requests. 
  • Remove and restore damaged parts to the framework of the vehicle. 
  • Use state-of-the-art tools and machinery to conduct the repair process. 
  • Straightening damaged panels or creating new ones. 
  • Filling holes, hammering dents out of panels. 
  • Ensure compliance to industry specifications and safety standards. 

 

Key skills of a Panel Beater 

  • Previous experience within the Auto Repair sector is essential. 
  • Panel beater certification, or previous experience as a Panel Beater. 
  • Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience. 
  • Ability to operate mechanical, hydraulic, and metalworking equipment. 
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations. 
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
