NDT Quality Technician
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension contributions

Our client, a growing specialist engineering company, is looking to appoint an NDT Quality Technician to join their expanding team. This is a varied role that would suit a proactive individual with a strong background in non-destructive testing and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities of an NDT Quality Technician:

  • Conducting visual inspections in line with PCN Level 2 certification
  • Performing dye penetrant testing (DP) to recognised standards
  • Carrying out radiographic testing (RT) where qualified – training can be provided for this certification if required
  • Managing calibration control systems to ensure equipment compliance
  • Supporting and maintaining quality procedures, including the development and adherence to NDE-specific documentation
  • Reviewing material certification and technical documentation for compliance

Key Skills of an NDT Quality Technician:

  • PCN Level 2 certification in Visual and Dye Penetrant Examination (essential)
  • PCN Level 2 in Radiographic Testing (desirable – training can be provided)
  • Experience working to quality and NDE procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
