Mechanical Assembly Fitter – Stonehouse
Our client is a world leading engineering and manufacturing company supplying services to the oil and gas industry. Due to continual production expansion we are looking to recruit Mechanical Assembly Fitter
Primary responsibilities:-
- The assembly of mechanical assemblies using hand, electric and pneumatic tools.
- The assembly / disassembly equipment.
- Preparing machines from initial build to readiness for testing.
- Ability to strip & report on equipment in house for refurbishment.
Person Profile:
- Confidence and ability to work unaided and also when required work within a team.
- A positive “can do” attitude is expected.
- An understanding of engineering drawings an asset.
- The position would likely suit a person with sound general engineering knowledge.
- Perhaps you have previously worked as a technician within a manufacturing facility or field service.
Salary in the region of £12.00 – £13.50 per hour
Hours of work 7.30 – 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 7.30 – 13.30 Friday.
This is a permanent position, pay is weekly, and holiday allowance is 22 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays & a contributory pension scheme.
