Groundworks Foreman

Location: Wrington, North Somerset

Hours:  Monday to Friday 7:30am until 4pm – 6 Month project

*Project Start dating 6th January*

Salary:  £250 Per day

Our client is seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead and manage groundworks activities on a residential construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks for house construction, including experience in managing teams, interpreting drawings, and ensuring projects are completed to high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities of a Groundworks Foreman:

• Supervise and coordinate daily groundworks operations on residential sites.

• Interpret and work from technical drawings to ensure accuracy in all groundworks.
• Manage and guide a team, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with site managers, contractors, and other trades.
• Maintain records, complete reports, and ensure all work complies with project specifications.

Key Skills of a Groundworks Foreman:

• CSCS Supervisor Card – required for site management and supervisory tasks.
• Proven Experience in Groundworks on house construction projects.
• Ability to Read and Interpret Drawings – essential for project accuracy.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations.
