Factory Labourer
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Full time | Mon–Thurs 7:15am–4:15pm, Fri 7:15am–12:15pm
Contract: 6-month temporary
Salary: £13.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities of a Factory Labourer:

  • Loading, unloading, and moving components using FLT or crane
  • Shotblasting and external driving duties
  • Organising, cleaning components, and keeping work areas tidy
  • Removal of swarf, rubbish, and contaminated waste
  • Deburring parts
  • Assisting with hydro testing, assembly, and despatch
  • Ensuring safe and effective movement and storage of components

Key Skills of a Factory Labourer:

  • Numerate and literate
  • Valid counterbalance FLT certificate
  • Crane/slinging licence beneficial
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Able to lift up to 25kg
