We are currently seeking a Customer Service and Import/Export Co-ordinator to work for a market leading manufacturing company based in Gloucestershire. The role will support the logistics department with transportation of stock coming in and out of the business.

The Role will involve:

  • Setting up sales and purchase orders (where necessary for traded products) and forward to customers and suppliers
  • Liaising with customers/suppliers on delivery timescales and arranging necessary paperwork
  • Arranging booking-in and transportation of goods with hauliers and couriers
  • Generating all import and export documentation required for deliveries into and outside of the UK, and liaising with hauliers and Customs agents where necessary
  • Dealing with all enquiries in a timely and professional manner as a matter of priority
  • Manage all incoming calls and emails, forwarding to the appropriate person or taking messages if needed
  • Logging all customer complaints using our Complaints IT platform, and managing any which relate to damage during delivery.
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times

 

Skills and Experience required:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good written and verbal English language essential

Additional languages an advantage

Previous customer service experience essential

Experience with import and export documentation preferred

 

 

Hours: 40 hours per week – 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (some flexibility will be required)

Holiday: 25 days per annum
