Location:  Quedgeley, Gloucestershire
Hours: Fulltime | Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (6-month fixed term contract)
Salary: £25,000 per annum

Job Description

Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing process, ensuring orders are placed, deliveries are tracked, and general administrative tasks are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities of an Administrator

  • Create and send purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Use supplier ordering systems and portals to manage orders.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to schedule and track goods.
  • Follow up on delayed or missed deliveries.
  • Set up new products in the system.
  • Record and update market prices weekly for the sales team.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed.

Key Skills of an Administrator

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Experience in creating purchase orders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner.
