Production Operative - Stroud

The Role

  • To run a variety of machines on the production line, this will entail ensuring machines are kept supplied with materials, monitoring and recording performance from volume and quality aspects.
  • Other aspects of the role include an active involvement in:
  • Continuous improvement,
  • Health & Safety
  • Improvements to SOPs,
  • Monitoring, recording and minimisation of wastage

The Person

  • Good team skills, especially with regards communication
  • A commitment to quality
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the drinks industry, experience or familiarity with continuous improvement and 5s would be beneficial
  • Conscientious and be able to work independently but appreciate when assistance is required
  • Able to complete paperwork clearly and accurately, and have a good grasp of basic mathematics
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail when under pressure. 
  • Would ideally have a current counterbalance FLT license although not essential

Hours of work:

The position operates on a shift system with a 39-hour week. Shift hours are:

Monday to Thursday 05:45 to 14:15 mornings and 13:45 to 22:15 late

Fridays 05:45 to 13:15 mornings and 12:45 to 20:15 late


£16,000 + 25% shift premium
