Care Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Care Manager has arisen to join a well-established company in Nailsworth. This is a full time permanent position.

Key Duties:

  • Assist the training team in the development and delivery of both Induction and Refresher training courses.
  • Work closely with the Client Services Manager and Bookings team to ensure quality client contact is maintained at all times.
  • General Office Admin support.
  • Out-of-hours phone duty when required.
  • To oversee and manage a national client base to include conducting care and risk assessments and subsequent reviews. 
  • Following assessments and reviews, provide clearly written information to the Admin team in order for the client’s care plan to be drafted, reviewed, or amended as necessary.
  • To act as an ongoing point of contact for clients to ensure the service provided meets their needs.
  • To work closely with the Training team to ensure quality delivery of regular monthly training courses. 
  • To provide regular telephone support to working carers and to submit regular reports to the bookings team and the Care Management team with relevant feedback.
  • Provide regular telephone support to clients and their relatives.
  • To answer telephones promptly and politely.
  • To cover the out-of-hours evening and weekend phone duties as and when required.
  • To assist the Senior Management Team in the investigation and resolution of any concerns or complaints from clients or carers.
  • To implement new care policies or procedures as directed by Senior Management.
  • To liaise with medical and non-medical staff external to the company.
  • To maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the office and kitchen.

  • Friendly, confident and professional.
  • Flexible with the ability to reprioritise.
  • Proactive with a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised and a good team player.
  • Confident car driver with own car
  • Good problem solver.
  • Experience of care and the care sector
